the DieMS

Documentary style, behind-the-scenes wedding video.

Our Client's Needs

Dani and Kyle were looking to tie the knot quickly. They wanted a small elopement with just close family and friends. However, Dani's family unfortunately couldn't come from Brazil. They wanted a short and simple wedding video as a reminder of their special day and also so Dani's family could re-live that day with them virtually.

Breakdown of Solution Provided

Color choices - Natural and uplifting. We elected to simply accent the colors of the day. The neutral tones present throughout the venue and reception were more than enough to provide good contrast. The simplicity of the video also allowed for a relatively basic color grade.

Feel/tone of video - Happy, uplifting, fun. Something that resembled Dani and Kyle and their special day.

Braden was able to capture every single feeling we had that day and it has been heart-warming re-living it.

Jess & Jeremy

Behind the scenes proposal video (from far away)

Our Client's Needs

Jess was getting proposed to on a family ski trip. Jeremy was planning to propose at the bottom of the mountain after faking an injury. After figuring out that we were not allowed on the mountain, I was forced to shoot from an upper balcony. This was an impromptu and unplanned video that turned into something that Jess, Jeremy, and the family can cherish forever.

Breakdown of Solution Provided

Color choices - Cool to match the feel of the mountain trip and the snow falling. We elevated the exposure in post since the ski slope was so dark. The goal was to accent the natural colors of the ski slope without overkilling the bright neon's of the ski jackets.

Feel/tone of video - Happy, uplifting, fun.

Braden did such an amazing job putting this together and I will forever be grateful to him. I look at the video he did for us at least once a week and I'm still blown away.
